Arrival
By car
Arrive by car toll-free from Germany, drive via Füssen/Reutte or Garmisch.
Toll-free, but vignette sticker required from Innsbruck (from the east) via the A12 motorway and the Fernpass to Ehrwald.
DER SONNENHANG is situated above the village centre on the "Sonnenhang" of Ehrwald. From the village centre (Kirchplatz) follow the road towards Martinsplatz/Sonnenhang/Ehrwalder Alm. At the end of Martinsplatz you will see a fountain on the left and a chapel on the right. Here, the path branches off to the left in the direction of "Sonnenhang". Follow the road through a narrow alley - the "Hölzli" - straight ahead. The last 100 meters of the access road take place via a slight gradient to the apartment house.

By train or plane
An arrival by train is possible too. You need to get off at the station in Ehrwald. From there you can take a taxi or book our shuttle service (on request).
Even if you are from overseas, you can reach the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena quickly and easily. The Airport in Innsbruck is only 75 km away from Ehrwald. Take the train or use bus connections from Innsbruck or book the airport taxi to get to your apartments DER SONNENHANG in Ehrwald.
