Sledging fun at Zugspitz Arena
Sledge ride fans look forward to the best sledge ride fun in and around Ehrwald! Many natural sledge-runs enable quick and funny rides. Night sledging is especially popular and exciting. The mountain railway Ehrwalder Almbahn is open every Tuesday and Friday night, so you can try sledging on an illuminated run. The neighbouring villages Berwang, Biberwier, Lermoos etc. also offer top groomed sledge runs.

Winter hiking in Ehrwald
Hiking in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is also great in winter! More than 60 km of hiking trails are groomed and for the most part free from snow, and they invite you to explore the beautiful winter wonderland. Different routes in and around Ehrwald enable relaxed as well as sporty hiking tours in the Zugspitz Arena. If you prefer hiking through snow, why not try snow shoe hiking?
Magic of light in the midst of the mountains
Experience a fairytale time-out in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena! From 15 November 2024 to 23 February 2025, the Ehrenberg castle landscape will be illuminated in the mystical glow of LUMAGICA. Under the theme ‘Knight Rüdiger's creepy castle’, the historic ambience will be transformed into a fascinating sea of lights, just a short drive from our apartment building.

Evening programme in the Zugspitz Arena
Experience the winter variety at night with the evening activity programme offered in and around Ehrwald. Night sledging and night skiing as well as ski shows and night ice skating are offered. The hiking tours with torches and lamas that are offered in Lermoos and Biberwier in the evenings are especially beautiful.
